She has worked on European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) issues since its creation in 2002 and provides analysis of the impact of EFSA opinions and guidance on health claims, nutrition, botanicals, food additives and novel foods. Stefanie has a background in biochemistry. She is fluent in German, English, Italian and French.
