Central Asian Countries Signed the Food Security Plan Until 2030

The inaugural meeting of agriculture ministers from Central Asian countries took place in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The discussions centered on strengthening regional cooperation, advancing sustainable agriculture, and ensuring food security across the Central Asian region.
The event was attended by heads of relevant government agencies, diplomats, and representatives from international organisations. Kazakhstan highlighted its achievements in agricultural policy, noting that between January and September 2025, trade turnover in the agro-industrial complex between Kazakhstan and other Central Asian countries increased by 24.4%, reaching 2.3 billion US dollars.
Following the meeting, a Joint Declaration was signed, along with the Central Asian Food Security Plan up to 2030, developed at the initiative of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. This document aims to enhance coordination in agricultural policy and promote regional integration. The parties reaffirmed their commitment to expanding cooperation and implementing joint projects.
