Imported food products that are approved by the authorities from Australia, Canada, the European Union, Israel, Japan, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States of America, will be quickly authorised in the country.
ANMAT’s Disposition 537/2025 foresees that food products from the above-mentioned countries that do not comply with the rules of the Argentinean Food Code but are registered/marketed in the respective country, will be authorised for its commercialization in Argentina through an Import Notice submitting the corresponding Free Sales Certificate or similar.
