Argentina Updates Rules for Different Categories in the Argentinean Food Code

Argentina has recently revised several chapters of its Argentinean Food Code to align with industry advancements. The updates include new provisions for the following categories:
  • Article 1285: Mustard
  • Article 579: Dairy desserts
  • Articles 1334 tris and 1334 quater: Balsamic vinegar
  • Articles 1249 and 1249 bis: Edible mushrooms
  • Article 1263: Processing aids, with the introduction of new enzymes
These updates are now in effect and are fully enforceable.
