The Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA) has been awarded two ISO certifications: ISO 900:2015 for Quality Management Systems and ISO 37001:2016 for Anti-Corruption Management Systems. These certifications were awarded following audits which verified AQTA’s compliance with these internationally recognised standards.
AQTA has been actively working to implement both systems since August 2024. Adopting these ISO standards bolsters the agency’s operational capacities, improving the quality and efficiency of its services, ultimately reinforcing food safety, and plant and animal health.
