EAS Strategies Webinar Highlights Emerging Front-of-Pack Labelling Policies Across the Middle East & Africa

EAS Strategies recently hosted a free online webinar entitled “Emerging Front-of-Pack Labelling Policies in the Middle East & Africa: Regulatory Insights”, bringing together industry stakeholders to discuss evolving regulatory approaches to front-of-pack (FOP) nutrition labelling across the MEA region.

Held on 18 November 2025, the webinar was delivered by Manal Khouri, Regulatory Affairs Manager for the Middle East & Africa, and was open to industry clients and companies operating in or targeting MEA markets. The session provided an overview of current and emerging policy developments, highlighting how different jurisdictions are approaching front-of-pack labelling as part of broader public health and consumer information strategies.

The webinar examined key regulatory trends, areas of convergence and divergence between national frameworks, and the practical implications for food and beverage operators. Particular attention was given to the potential compliance challenges arising from fragmented requirements and the importance of early regulatory intelligence when preparing market entry or reformulation strategies.
