The Gulf Legislation Platform was officially launched on 14 June 2026 at the GCC General Secretariat headquarters. The initiative aims to strengthen legislative integration across GCC member states by providing a unified electronic reference for Gulf-wide legislation and national laws adopted within the framework of joint Gulf action. The platform facilitates efficient access to legal and legislative documents, supporting government entities, legal professionals, researchers and other stakeholders in their work.
Currently, the platform hosts more than 24,700 legal and legislative documents and offers advanced search functionality to improve accessibility and usability. The first phase covers the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Sultanate of Oman, with the remaining GCC member states expected to be integrated during subsequent phases.
This development is expected to strengthen legislative coordination, facilitate the exchange of legal expertise and support more informed decision-making across the region.
